The Aranya·Sanya in Hainan, China has been completed, designed by Verse Design. Situated in a seaside environment, the scheme was designed to evoke notions of space for life. Despite the straightforward brief for the Aranya town, the scheme reaches further to become a communal space for residents in the deeply spiritual community. The site is adjacent to the sand dune formed by mountain and sea breezes after a long period. The design’s inspiration comes from a gentle breeze from the sea and desert. The wind is one of essential natural elements to helps people chill-out, which is suitable concept for the resting place project.
